These Terms & Conditions apply to all treatments, services, training courses and website use provided by Signature Aesthetics by Paula. By booking an appointment or using this website, you agree to these terms.

About Us

Signature Aesthetics by Paula is a nurse-led aesthetic clinic based at The Old Brewery, Castle Eden, Hartlepool, TS27 4SU. For enquiries please contact signatureaestheticsbypaula@outlook.com.

Medical Consultation Requirement

All aesthetic treatments require a consultation prior to treatment. By booking an appointment, the client confirms that they are over 18 years of age, will provide accurate and complete medical history, understand treatments are medical procedures, and will disclose all relevant health conditions and medications.

Failure to provide accurate medical information may result in treatment being refused.

Suitability for Treatment

Signature Aesthetics by Paula reserves the right to decline treatment if it is not clinically appropriate, postpone treatment due to medical reasons, refuse treatment if expectations are unrealistic, or refuse treatment if behaviour is inappropriate or abusive.

Results & Expectations

Aesthetic treatments aim to enhance natural features and results vary between individuals. No treatment outcome can be guaranteed, results depend on individual response, lifestyle and aftercare, multiple sessions may be required and maintenance treatments may be necessary. Before and after photos may be taken for medical records.

Payments

Full payment is required at the time of treatment unless otherwise agreed. The clinic reserves the right to request deposits, refuse future bookings if balances remain outstanding, and adjust pricing at any time. Prices are displayed in GBP.

Deposits

Where a deposit is required, deposits are non-refundable, may be transferred if adequate notice is given, and failure to attend without notice may result in deposit loss.

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

At least 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If less than 48 hours' notice is given, deposits may be retained, a cancellation fee may apply, and future bookings may require full prepayment. Repeated missed appointments may result in refusal of future bookings.

Refund Policy

Due to the nature of medical aesthetic treatments, refunds are not provided for completed treatments, if a client changes their mind, or if expected results differ from personal preference. If there is a clinical concern, a review appointment will be offered. Training course refunds are subject to separate booking conditions provided at enrolment.

Aftercare Responsibility

Clients must follow all aftercare advice. Failure to do so may affect results, increase the risk of complications and void eligibility for review appointments.

Complications

All medical procedures carry risk. By booking treatment, the client acknowledges that risks and side effects have been explained, they have had the opportunity to ask questions, and they understand possible complications. If complications arise, the clinic must be contacted immediately.

Training Academy

For training courses, full payment may be required in advance, certificates are issued upon successful completion, non-attendance without notice may result in loss of payment, and the clinic reserves the right to reschedule courses. Course content remains the intellectual property of Signature Aesthetics by Paula and may not be copied or redistributed.

Website Use

All website content including text, images, branding and logos remains the property of Signature Aesthetics by Paula and may not be copied, reproduced or used without written permission.

Liability

Signature Aesthetics by Paula maintains appropriate professional indemnity insurance. The clinic is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, failure to disclose medical information, or failure to follow aftercare advice. Nothing excludes liability for negligence causing death or personal injury where it cannot legally be excluded.

Behaviour Policy

The clinic operates a zero-tolerance policy towards aggressive behaviour, harassment, abusive language and threatening conduct and reserves the right to refuse service to anyone displaying inappropriate behaviour.

Data Protection

Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Amendments

Signature Aesthetics by Paula reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions and the current version will always be published on the website.
